Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for a home invasion which took place on Galaxy Drive in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

On November 28, 2010 at approximately 23:00, two suspects entered the apartment and pointed a firearm at the victims head demanding cash and jewelery. One of the male suspects was described as a dark skinned black male wearing a ski mask and hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a light skinned black male with a chin strap beard.

Enfield – Fraud

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying the
persons responsible for the following crimes.

Enfield RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying a fraud suspect. On
January 6, 2011, a lone male entered the ESSO Service Station in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia. The male presented “Vanilla Pre-paid Mastercards” to the clerk. He advised that the pre-paid cards had been given to him as a gift, but when he tried to use them, the cards were not activated.

He then asked if the clerk could activate them for him, which the clerk did. The suspect used five pre-paid cards valued at $100 each. This same suspect committed the same fraud at the Fall River ESSO for a total of $250 the day before.

East Ship Harbour – Arson

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following case of Arson.

Between Monday January 3rd, 2011 and Friday January 7th, 2011 a camp located on Newcombe Lake, East Ship Harbour, Halifax County was completely burned to the ground.

Yarmouth – Break & Enter

On Friday, November 19, 2010 between 04:50 and 05:15 a Caucasian male broke into Dooley’s in Yarmouth, Nova, Once inside, the office safe containing a sum of money was broken into.

The suspect male is Caucasian, approximately 5’6″-5’7″, 25-30 years old, 150 pounds, thin, short brown hair with long side burns, and appeared to be left- handed. The suspect was wearing a distinct two toned bomber style jacket with logo on sleeve and back.

Pictou County – Theft

A break, enter and theft occurred at 1491 Black Brook Road, Black Brook, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, sometime between 14:30 on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 and 09:30 on Wednesday, December 29, 2010.

A set of upper kitchen cupboards were stolen including an over the range microwave (white in color). The kitchen cupboards were made of oak with raised panel doors and a clear, natural finish with the two corner cupboard doors having glass doors. The area has been subject to several breaks and enters in the past as it is quite remote, providing the time needed to remove and steal such items.

Waverley – Break & Enter

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of break enter & theft which occurred in Waverley Nova Scotia.

On October 31, 2010 and November 12, 2010 someone broke into the Pizza Place in Waverley. Taken was a quantity of cigarette products. A witness saw the suspect running with a bag on his shoulder to a red Chevy Aveo sedan 4D. The suspect got in the passenger door. The car went to the Fall River on HWY 2.

Suspect is described as a white male, 30 years old, approx 6’, thin build.

Theft – Truro

On December 19, 2010, two suspects, one male and one female, broke open a sliding display case at People’s Jewellers and removed a tray of earrings. They left the store at approximately 15:45. The female appears to be Native and the male suspect is wearing a Team Canada Under Armour jacket.

Break Enter & Theft – Pictou County

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following case of Break Enter & Theft.

On December 10, 2010, the Pictou County District RCMP received a call of a break, enter and theft from a camp in MacLellans Mountain, Pictou County, NS. Suspects used a small grinder to remove the lock from the
gate to gain access to the property. Once inside, they proceeded to cut off five more locks on the outbuildings. They smashed the window out of the camp to gain access to it. Various items were stolen and it appeared the suspects were getting ready to hook up to a trailer there and load it full of items. The break-in occurred between midnight and 06:30. Suspects came with a truck. Several snowmobiles, two more ATVs and tools were left behind, so it is possible they may plan to return. If anyone has any information please contact the investigator.

Theft from Motor Vehicle – Lawrencetown

Sometime overnight on October 10, 2010, unidentified suspects broke into a vehicle in the Lawrencetown area of HRM and stole a Helly Hansen jacket containing a number of personal items, including a credit card. The card was subsequently used by two unidentified Caucasian males to make numerous purchases at various businesses in the Cole Harbour / Dartmouth area.

Both suspects were careful to keep their heads down to avoid being captured on surveillance cameras. Cole Harbour RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying the male parties responsible.

Theft – New Minas
