Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying the
persons responsible for the following crimes.
Enfield RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying a fraud suspect. On
January 6, 2011, a lone male entered the ESSO Service Station in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia. The male presented “Vanilla Pre-paid Mastercards” to the clerk. He advised that the pre-paid cards had been given to him as a gift, but when he tried to use them, the cards were not activated.
He then asked if the clerk could activate them for him, which the clerk did. The suspect used five pre-paid cards valued at $100 each. This same suspect committed the same fraud at the Fall River ESSO for a total of $250 the day before.
