Break & Enter – Mooseland

Crime Stoppers is requesting the public’s assistance in solving the following break and enter.

Between May 28th, 2010 and June 11, 2010, a break and enter occurred to a shed at a secluded camp located in the community of Mooseland, NS.

. Stolen items include the following:

– 3 1/2 horse power Johnson outboard motor, S/N: J3RSNF
– Minkota electric outboard motor(no further description or S/N)
– Mastercraft 5 piece tool kit, blue in colour S/N: G0320
– Skeetervas bug zapper, S/N: 028548
– Mastercraft sliding compound miter saw, S/N: W0703504
– Makita skill saw (no further description given)
– whipper snipper/brush cutter (no further description given)
– Still Chainsaw, Model #: 270

It is also important to note that prior to the break and enter, the camp owners were visited by a white male, 18-20 years old, dark complected, clean cut, driving a mid sized vehicle (possibly a Ford Focus or Taurus) stating that he had seen a black lab on the road and wondered if it belong to them. The camp owners had not seen this young man before and noted that the shed was opened at that time.

Mischief – Sheet Harbour

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following crime.

Sheet Harbour RCMP are investigating a damage to property to the Duncan MacMILLAN High School overnight on May 15th, 2010.  Culprit/s spray painted profanities on the front entry way of the school causing extensive damage.

Theft – Sheet Harbour

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following theft.

Between April 30, 2010 at 12:00pm and May 03, 2010 at 02:00am numerous items were stolen from a service truck located on a secluded pulping wood lot on Sam’s Lake Road, Sheet Harbour, NS.

Suspects took numerous items including an industrial size Bobcat Welder, Oregon Chain sharpener and a grinder. Total value of all the items taken was estimated at approximately $5500.

Theft – Sheet Harbour

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following theft.

On 2010-04-30 between 5:30 am and 3:00 pm, numerous items were stolen from a secluded fishing shed located on Passage Road, Sheet Harbour Passage, NS.

Suspects took numerous items including three Johnson outboard motors, a green aluminum boat and a 3500 Watt Arctic Cat generator. Total value of all the items taken was estimated at $5000 to $10,000.

Armed Robbery – Truro

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following armed robbery.

On Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 02:47, a lone male entered the Irving Mainway on Robie Street, Lower Truro, Nova Scotia. The suspect produced a sawed off rifle

He was dressed with a desert camouflage coloured stock. He left the store after taking a sum of money and several cartons of Rayo brand cigarette tubes. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a newer car red in color.

This incident appears to be related to another armed robbery that took place at the Needs
Convenience Store in Truro on Thursday, April 8, 2010.

Suspicious Fire – Sheet Harbour

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a case of a suspicious fire which occurred sometime between March 28, 2010 and April 10, 2010 in the Sheet Harbour area of Nova Scotia.

A cottage located off of Fraser Lake Road, Highway 224 was totally destroyed.

The area is only accessible by ATV or truck, the cottage was only accessible by foot.

Construction theft – Linden

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of theft from a Construction site in Linden, Cumberland County Nova Scotia.

Sometime between 12:30 pm on April 3 and 8:30 am on April 8, 2010 a theft occurred at a construction site on Casey Road in Linden.

Those responsible stole mover $30,000 worth of building supplies and power tools.

Pictou County – Theft

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of theft which occurred in Pictou County N.S.

Sometime between December 31, 2009 and January 4, 2010 a home made trailer and contents were stolen from in front of the Armour Industries Shop located in Abercrombie.

The trailer is described as black in color, triple axle, 30 feet in length.
On the trailer were a tire groover, blue in color serial # 490698 and a tire rotator, blue in color serial # 0420675.

Attempted Break & Enter – Stewiacke (Update)

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible to an attempted break and enter at the NSLC in Stewiacke, NS.

At around 6:58 AM the alarm was activated. When police arrived at the scene the stores video system showed a vehicle had struck the door and was stopped against it. The vehicle backed up a short distance and a male approached the door and checked the handle, at this time the vehicle rammed the door and the man.

The man fell then hobbled to the ram vehicle which fled the area.

Crime stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving the following crimes of arson which took place at St Mary’s University

Feb 26th, 2010 5:30am Rice 13th Floor
Feb 26th, 2010 7:03am Rice 14th Floor

Description: Fire alarms occurred in each of the above instances due to paper being lit on fire and activating smoke detectors in the hallway. In the incident on the 14th floor of Rice the paper was placed on a light fixture in the hallway, causing it to catch on fire.
