Cape Breton Regional Police are asking for your help in solving the following case
On May 9th 2026 at 04:51 police attended Gannon Road North Sydney for a ATV that was stolen and then burnet. The person who called the fire in stated the following:
- He lives near by
- He was woken up to a loud bang
- When he looked outside he seen smoke and a orange grow
- He never seen anyone around the area
Police made a canvass of the area with negative results
There were no surveillance cameras in the immediate area.
Police spoke with the ATV owner who stated the following:
- He lives on Tobin Ave North Sydney
- He went to work at 3:30 AM
- He does not know who took the vehicle
- Whoever broke into his garage broke the hasp on the barn door
