Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in Halifax this morning.
At approximately 4:50 a.m., police responded to the 5600-block of Cunard Street for a report of an injured man laying in the street. Officers located a 30-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Officers provided first-aid at the scene before the man was transported to the hospital by EHS with what are believed to serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is in the early stages and police are asking anyone with information or video from the area to call police at 902-490-5020.
