On April 8th 2026 police attended 760 Mahon Street New Waterford for a structure fire. When they arrived they noticed the following:
- There was fire trail going from the ground to the wall of the garage.
- The left garage shutter and adjoining wall was on fire.
- The fire engulfed the gas tank as well.
- There was metal junk and tires near the gas tank and was on fire as well.
A canvass of the area was made by police with negative results.
