Overnight on October 4^th 2015 several vehicles were damaged at the Tidnish baseball field.  Along with the vehicles, there was some minor damage done to buildings at the field also. There was a large party near the damage and any information could help the investigation.

Crime Stoppers and Halifax District RCMP are asking for the public’s help with solving theft’s from super mailboxes in Tantallon, Timberlea and Hubley over the weekend.

Preliminary investigation determined unknown person(s) forced their way into several mailboxes located in a number of areas within Tantallon RCMP’s patrol area. In all cases, criminals used prying tools to break into the boxes and steal the contents of those containing parcels. The areas affected are: Deerwood Lane at Grebe Ave, Timberlea, Big Hubley Lake Rd. in Hubley and Rockcliffe Cres. at Pinetree Cress., Hammonds Plains. These crimes are believed to have occurred sometime overnight Thursday, October 1 into Friday, October 2, 2015.

Sometime during the night of August 30th  someone stole the following items from a residence on North Street.

• one of two dark brown plastic Adirondack chairs
• one of two small side table, glass top, metal legs
• one red solar light, 12 inches in diameter
• three small silver solar lights with faux stained glass sides
• one large white quartz rock
• broke the end piece from a metal flower in the garden

Sometime during the evening and overnight of August 23rd to the morning of August 24th, 2015 an unknown person(s) entered onto a Newville Road Property in Parrsboro and proceeded to loosen the hydraulic cables on some farm equipment. This caused the tractor to spray oil over the blueberry field as a fine mist. About $4000 of blueberries were destroyed due to this crime.

Sometime between the night of Friday June 19th 2015 and Saturday June 20th an unknown person (s)  stole a 2002 green John Deer tractor model Farm at 33 Manetail Lane in Lawrencetown, Halifax County  Nova Scotia.

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a series of thefts of golf carts from the Grandview Golf and Country Club, occurred between June 17th and July 8th.

Preliminary investigation determined four privately owned the golf carts were parked outside on the grounds of the golf club in a location some distance away from the fleet golf carts. One fleet golf cart that was parked in fleet parking has been stolen.

– Edson 36″ Frigate steering wheel

– Self-steering mechanism (from a Ray Marine ST 6002 Smart Pilot system)

– Rocna 10 Kg anchor

On June 24^th 2015 in the early morning hours, unknown person(s) proceeded to damage 19 windows at West End Memorial School in Springhill. The damage caused disruptions at school and had to be repaired.
