Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery  that occurred last evening in Dartmouth.

At  approximately 10:30 pm last evening officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 100 block of Main Street, Dartmouth.

Two suspects entered the business and told the clerk not to activate the alarm.  They moved behind the counter and took a quantity of cigarettes and cash before fleeing on foot.

The suspects were both wearing masks, one reported as a white male.  They were both approximately 5’8”.  One was wearing a black leather jacket with red sleeves, black pants and black sneakers with white soles.  The second suspect wore a dark winter coat and light pants.  One suspect was wearing black skeleton gloves.

No weapon was reported.

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred this morning in Halifax.

At 00:56 am officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 0 to 100 block of Titus Ave, Halifax

The suspect entered a the business and produced a knife demanding cash.

The suspect fled on foot towards Main Ave after receiving a small quantity of cash.

No persons were injured in the incident.

The suspect was described as a short, thin male, wearing a green reflective jacket and baseball cap.

Aggravated Assault, Dartmouth

Police Investigate Aggravated Assault – Dartmouth

At 8:00 p.m., on the 2nd of December, Halifax Regional Police responded to an Aggravated Assault the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Centre, 90 Gloria McCluskey Ave Dartmouth.  A 46 year old male inmate was assaulted by a group inmates.  The victim sustained life threatening injuries and has been transported to the hospital.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating.

Police find human remains in Grafton, Kings County

Found human remains in Kings County

November 29, 2019, Grafton, Kings County, Nova Scotia . . . At 10:44 a.m. today, Kings District RCMP responded to a call of found human remains near Arnold Rd. in Grafton.

The RCMP and investigators from the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service are on scene and the investigation into the circumstances of the death is ongoing. Police are not able to release any identifying information about the remains until an identification has been made by the Medical Examiner.

Police investigate robbery

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred earlier this morning in Halifax.

At approximately 1:40 a.m. this morning officers responded to a robbery at the Circle K convenience store located at 15 Fairfax Drive in Halifax .

A male entered the business gesturing as if he was in possession of a weapon.  He then rushed in behind the counter stealing cash and cigarettes. The staff member was uninjured during this incident.

The suspect fled the store heading in behind the business towards Fairfax Drive.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height, wearing a ball cap, grey hoodie, black jacket, grey sweatpants and black shoes.

The incident remains under investigation.

Halifax Regional Police investigate Break and Enter at store

December 1st, 2019 (4:55 a.m.)

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a break and enter that occurred this morning in Halifax.

At 2:56 am officers responded to a report of a commercial alarm at the Sobeys Express Convenience Store, 5 Ruth Goldbloom Drive in Halifax.

Officers arrived on scene within minutes and discovered a break and enter had occurred.

The suspect broke the glass door, entered the business and stole cigarettes.

The suspect fled the scene in a late model Toyota Rav 4 with a spare tire on the back with a white cover.  The vehicle had chrome rims and a bug deflector.  There appeared to be a passenger in the front seat.

The vehicle was last observed heading onto Farnham gate Road towards highway 102.

Help RCMP find trailer stolen from East Preston

Help RCMP find trailer stolen from East Preston

November 29, 2019, East Preston, Nova Scotia… Halifax District RCMP is asking for public help to locate a stolen trailer. The trailer was stolen between 9:30 a.m. on November 24 and 9 a.m. on November 25 from a work site on Lower Governor St. in East Preston.

The trailer is a 2017 stainless steel 14-foot long BRIMAR trailer. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the trailer is # 58CB1DC25HC004562.

Help RCMP solve thefts of 13 oil tanks

November 28, 2019, Waverley, Nova Scotia…Halifax District RCMP is asking for public help to solve 13 thefts of oil tanks from a business on Cobequid Rd. in Waverley

Between October 9 and November 25, thirteen fiberglass furnace oil tanks were stolen. The business had cameras on the property and captured pictures of three suspects and a truck. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark, older model, F150 Ford Pickup truck

Utility Trailer stolen from Winmar, Kings County

On November 26 between midnight and 12;21 a.m. security video captured a 2006 Chevrolet half-ton extended cab truck stealing a 2010 16 foot white and blue Middlebury enclosed tandem axle trailer. The trailer contained equipment for shaping rain gutters.

1986 Chev Blazer stolen from L’Ardoise, Hants County

On November 24th, 2019 Windsor Rural RCMP were advised of a theft of a Vehicle that took place between the evening of Friday November 22nd and the afternoon of November 24th, 2019. A Red 1986 Chev Blazer was stolen from behind a garage on Highway 1, Ardoise, Hants County, Nova Scotia.
