Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Halifax.
On Oct. 29, at approximately 1:30 p.m., police received a report of an injured man at a residence on Richmond Street in Halifax. Police, firefighters and paramedics all responded and performed life-saving measures but the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The man has been identified as 70-year-old Brian David Johnson from Halifax.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service conducted an autopsy yesterday and confirmed the manner of death to be homicide.
The investigation is being led by HRP/RCMP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
