West Hants District RCMP assumes lead in investigation into Daniel Faulkner’s disappearance

August 24, 2022, Wentworth Creek, Nova Scotia…West Hants District RCMP has assumed the lead in the investigation into the disappearance of Daniel Faulkner.

Daniel Faulkner, 42, was initially believed to have disappeared in Lower Sackville, however the investigation has since determined that Faulkner was near Sanford Dr. in Wentworth Creek on August 19, 2022, before he disappeared.

Faulkner is described as 5-foot-9, 280lbs, has brown hair, brown eyes and a full beard. Faulkner was last seen wearing black shorts and a black shirt. He drives a grey Jeep Wrangler with Nova Scotia license plate GLH 557.

To date West Hants District RCMP has conducted searches of the last known area that Faulkner was believed to be, including a search by RCMP Air Services. RCMP investigators continue to speak with family and friends and follow up on tips as they are received.
