RCMP investigating theft of firearms in East Leicester

August 29, 2022, East Leicester, Nova Scotia…Cumberland County District RCMP is investigating the theft of firearms from a home on Hwy. 204 in East Leicester.

On August 28, 2022, Cumberland County District RCMP responded to a report of a break-in at a home on Hwy. 204 in East Leicester. Police learned that during the break-in two rifles and two shotguns were stolen. The break-in occurred between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on August 27.
