Police respond to a commercial Break and Enter.

Police responded to Atlantic Photo for a commercial burgler alarm at 6111 Pepperell Street in Halifax. Other calls were also placed from witness accounts of a Break and Enter in progress.
As Police arrived, the suspect fled. Members of the Patrol Division assisted with K-9 searched the area locating evidence, but were unable to locate the suspect so far.
An undetermined quantity of photo lenses were stolen. The only suspect description that could be obtained was a male wearing dark clothing and wearing blue gloves.
It should be noted that this is the second such Break and Enter in recent times, with the first happening on March 27, 2022 (22-35718) when photo equipment was stolen as well. It has not been determined if the two crimes are linked to the same suspect.

The investigation is in its early stages. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call 902-490-5020.
