Police asks for help to identify a vehicle and person of interest

June 5, 2020, Waverley, Nova Scotia… The Integrated RCMP/HRP Criminal Investigation Division is asking for the public’s help to identify a vehicle and person of interest in relation to a suspicious incident in Waverley.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 2, an older dark pick-up truck with tinted windows tailgated a woman in her vehicle on Waverley Rd. The truck attempted to pass her but drove beside her and then dropped back in behind her. The truck followed for about 20 minutes while the woman tried to evade it. The woman pulled over to make a call, the truck drove by her, noticed her on the phone and drove away.

The driver is described as a white male, 25 to 35-years-old and wearing a ball cap.
