Help RCMP find driver of truck involved in collision

June 3, 2019, Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia…The RCMP is asking for public help to find a driver involved in a collision with a utility pole on Caldwell Dr. in Eastern Passage this morning.

At approximately 11:40 a.m., Halifax District RCMP got a call that a truck collided with a utility pole near the intersection of Caldwell Rd. and Shore Rd. and then turned westbound on Shore Rd.

Upon arrival, police learned that a dark blue 2007 GMC truck with Nova Scotia license plate number MAA95 was driving southbound in the 2000 block of Caldwell Rd. It appeared to narrowly miss colliding with a white Jeep then collided head-on with the utility pole and came to rest in a ditch. The pole and vehicle sustained damage in the collision.  The truck backed out of the ditch and continued southbound on Caldwell Rd and then turned westbound on Shore Rd.
