Man charged with cocaine trafficking
June 10, 2019, Melville, Inverness County, Nova Scotia . . . On June 8, Inverness District RCMP and the Inverness/Richmond District RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) made an arrest and searched a home in Melville, a small community Northeast of Port Hawkesbury.
As a result of the search, police seized cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Steven Leslie MacEachern, 25, of Melville was charged with Possessing Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Breaching of Recognizance (x 2). MacEachern was remanded into custody for court and is appearing today in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court.
