Theft East Uniacke, Hants Co, NS

Sometime between Jan 5th and 6th/2018 a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup with a 2016 Kawasaki ATV in the box was stolen from Beamish Road, East Uniacke, Hants County. The keys were not with either vehicle.
On Feb 7th the pickup was recovered in Halifax.

Cottage break-in: Can you help?

Colchester District RCMP is investigating a complaint of break and enter to a seasonal residence on Little York Rd. The break-in occurred between December 6, of last year and April 25 of this year. The suspect(s) forced their way into the building and caused damage to several pieces of property inside.

Have you seen this truck?

On March 12, sometime after 6 p.m., someone who was driving a black 2000-2004 Toyota Tundra pickup truck entered the parking lot of a car dealership in Hebbville, and the RCMP want to know who was in the truck at the time. The truck has black aftermarket machined rims. There is silver body moulding on the side of the cab. Several tools were stolen from the dealership, and further investigation has revealed that the suspect(s) may have attempted to break into other car dealerships in the area as well.

Lunenburg County District RCMP is asking for assistance to identify the owner and/or occupant(s) of this vehicle at the time of this incident. Police Continue to Investigate the Murder of Jaurmar Carvery

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the murder of Jaurmar Carvery and the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the case.

On May 3, 2008 at 12:08 a.m., two HRP beat officers patrolling on Gottingen Street heard gunshots from the area of Sunrise Walk and Olympic Court. The officers immediately responded to the area, where they found 21-year-old Jaurmar Carvery lying on the walkway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Jaurmar was transported to hospital by EHS but succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

The investigation into Jaurmar’s death remains active but unsolved at this time.

Did you see a car leaving the scene of a house fire?

May 2, 2018, Birchtown, Shelburne County, Nova Scotia . . . On April 24, Shelburne RCMP responded to a suspicious fire on Hwy. 3 in Birchtown. Investigators worked with the Fire Marshal to determine the fire was suspicious. Witnesses told police they saw a small car leaving the area between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. that evening, and police need help from the public to identify the vehicle and the occupants. No other descriptors are available at this time. The building that was burnt was a home that had been unoccupied. No one was hurt as a result of the fire.

Break Enter & Theft Auld’s Cove NS.

On April 29 at 12:40 a.m., a single suspect gained entry to a store in Auld’s Cove via the roof of the building. He took a quantity of cigarettes then police believe he fled the area in a vehicle. An RCMP police dog was called to the scene to locate a track, but was unsuccessful.

The suspect appeared to be male, and was wearing a grey and black striped hoodie, with the hood up, partially obscuring his face. He was wearing light brown and black work gloves, dark pants and black and white athletic shoes.

Springhill RCMP are looking for information regarding vehicle mischief

Sometime late April 25th to early April 26th 2018, unknown person(s) entered onto a property in Springhill on McGee street and smashed the windows of a vehicle in the yard; the passenger side window and the rear window were smashed along with scratches all over the car.

Police investigate stolen firearms

Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating a break and enter that occurred in Halifax last week.

On April 20, at 11:08 p.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence on Thornhill Drive in Halifax that is believed to have occurred sometime between, April 18 and when the call was received. Several items were taken, including three firearms.

Shooting

April 23, 2018  (1835 Hrs)

Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of 114 Woodlawn Dr. Dartmouth.

At 1523hrs police responded to a report of a shooting that had just occurred at 114 Woodlawn Dr. Dartmouth. Investigators determined that a victim had been shot. A male victim in his twenties was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Theft

April 16, 2018, Lower Truro, Nova Scotia . . . At 5 p.m. on April 12, a man entered a store on Robie St. and stole two barcode scanners, which are the devices used by store employees to verify prices and determine inventory. The value of the two devices is approximately $3600.00.

The suspect is described as male, 40 to 45 years old, 6-foot-2 with a large build, brown skin, and a beard. He left the store in a small dark-coloured sedan in an unknown direction of travel. His image was captured on the store’s surveillance video.
