Digby RCMP received a report of Break and Enter and Theft from the Southville Fire Department in Southville on 2025/03/14. The unknown suspect(s) stole a set of firefighter “bunker gear” and a hydraulic motor for the “Jaws of Life”. The suspect(s) left the Fire Department on what is believed to be a side by side.
It is crucial that the fire department retrieve these items as soon as possible in the event that the jaws of life have to be used to save the life of a person trapped in a car during an accident.
