Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a motor vehicle theft that occurred last month in Dartmouth.
On January 17, police responded to a report of a vehicle theft from the driveway of a residence on Saint Clair Avenue in Dartmouth. The theft is believed to have occurred between 11:30 p.m. the night before, and 7:45 a.m. The vehicle has since been recovered.
Through the course of the investigation, officers obtained video of the suspect. The suspect is described as a man in his late twenties, approximately 140 lbs., 6’ tall, brown hair, a beard, and brown eyes (photos attached).
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
