Halifax Regional Police is investigating a stabbing that occurred in Halifax last night.
Officers received a report of an injured person in the area of the 2100 block of Barrington Street. An altercation had occurred at that location at approximately 8:40 p.m. Two men were in a dispute with the victim, who was not known to them. One of the men stabbed the victim before fleeing the area on foot. The victim was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect with the knife is described as a man in his 40s, approximately 6’2” tall.
The second suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, with grey facial hair and wearing a green camouflage coat.
