Police investigating bank robbery

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a bank robbery that occurred earlier this afternoon in Halifax.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the TD Bank branch at 5495 Spring Garden Road. A man approached the teller and demanded money. He fled the bank with a quantity of cash.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 60s, 5’9” to 6’ tall, medium build, grey hair and wearing a medical face mask, green baseball hat, a green hoodie, black pants and white sneakers.
