Police investigate Halifax Gas Station Robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax early this morning.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. police received a report that a robbery had occurred at the Shell gas station located at 2616 Robie Street. A man entered the store, assaulted the employee and threatened to stab the employee with a needle. The man then fled on a bicycle with a quantity of cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s and approximately 6’ tall. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie, dark coloured pants, a blue medical face mask and was carrying a bag.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call 902-490-5020.
