Police continue to investigate Halifax shooting

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate a shooting that occurred last month in Halifax and are now releasing a photograph of the suspect.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on July 10 officers responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of Argyle Street. A group of people in the area were in a physical altercation and the suspect shot one of the men in the group. A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s, approximately 5’8” tall, medium build, short black hair and facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, red sneakers and a grey shoulder bag.
