Police investigate robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth last night.

At approximately 9:50 p.m. police responded to a robbery that occurred at the Sobeys at 210 Wyse Road. A man with a hammer entered the store and demanded money from an employee. The man fled the area on foot with a quantity of cash. The employee was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his thirties to forties, approximately 6′ tall, 170 lbs. He was wearing a black balaclava, a black baseball hat, a black winter coat and jeans.
