Police investigate weapons complaint

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a weapons complaint that occurred Monday December 20th 2021. A member of the public reported to police that at 6:47 P.M. they heard what they believed was gunfire in the area of 0-100 Farrell Street in Dartmouth.

When police arrived onscene, the suspect(s) had already fled. A home was damaged as a result of the gunfire, but no persons were struck and nobody was injured.

There is no ongoing threat to the public and police are onscene conducting an investigation along with members of the General Investigative Section and Forensic Identification Services.
