Police investigate bomb threat

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a bomb threat that was received this morning in Halifax.

Just after 03:38 a.m., police responded to a building located in the 0-100 block of Main Street for a bomb threat after the building received a threatening phone call from a caller. Officers are on scene and searching the area with members of the Forensic Identification Section however, nothing suspicious has been located to this point. The affected area has been cordoned off until cleared.

The investigation into this matter is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
