November 2, 2021, Saulnierville, Nova Scotia…Meteghan RCMP Detachment is investigating three thefts of heat pumps from properties in Saulnierville and Belliveau’s Cove.
On October 20, police received a report of an attempted theft of a heat pump compressor from a property on Amirault Rd. in Saulnierville. Police learned that the compressor had been sitting on a table behind the home on the property. A person had stolen the table but was not successful in stealing the heat pump compressor.
On October 22, police received a report of a break-in to a home on Saulnierville Rd. in Saulnierville. Police learned that during the break-in the heat pump head that was inside the home was stolen. The heat pump compressor outside of the home was also taken.
On October 27, police received a report of a theft of a heat pump compressor from a property on Hwy. 1 in Bealliveau’s Cove. Police learned that the compressor had been located outside of a church on the property.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking that anyone with information on these incidents contact the Meteghan RCMP Detachment at 902-645-2326.
