Police Investigate Weapons Call (Shooting) – Bedford

At approximately 11:00 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots with a male on injured in at the intersection of Broad Street and Farrington Way, Bedford.  Multiple officers responded to the scene and located an adult male with life threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.  A number of officers are currently on scene, including K-9 and members of the Emergency Response Team.  There is no suspect description at this time. 

Investigators with the General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.
