Halifax Regional Police are investigating six reports of suspicious circumstances that occurred in Halifax in February and March.
Police received six reports from February 1 to March 4 of suspicious circumstances that occurred in the area of South Park and Brenton streets in Halifax. Investigators believe that a BB gun was used in five of the incidents: two involving damage to vehicles; two involving a person being struck; and one involving damage to a window pane. The sixth case involves damage to a vehicle where the cause is not known. Investigators are considering the possibility that all six incidents are related.
The investigations are ongoing by members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
