New Glasgow Regional Police seeking information on arson.

On Monday July 13 at approximately 5:10 a.m., New Glasgow Regional Police responded to an arson in progress on Green Street, New Glasgow. Police and fire arrived on scene and quickly extinguished a small fire on the front doorstep.

No one was injured at the scene and damage was contained to the front doorstep. One person was at the residence at the time of the incident.

Investigation revealed that the arson was the result of a bottle of gasoline that was ignited causing a combustion that lead to the fire.

Reports indicated that an unknown vehicle left the scene during the incident at a high rate of speed.
