Help RCMP solve break, enter and theft from business

April 21, 2019, Glooscap First Nation, Nova Scotia…Kings District RCMP is asking for help identifying a suspect following a theft from a business on Smith Rd. in Glooscap First Nation.

On April 8 at approximately 2:50 a.m., a man wearing grey pants, a red or orange hoodie and a white balaclava entered the business by breaking the glass front door. He then stole tobacco products and left the business.

He returned a short time later and took an axe left behind during the first break-in.

It appears that the suspect changed his clothing between the first and second break-ins. The second time, he was wearing a ball cap and a sweater wrapped around his neck. In both events, the suspect drove a pickup truck that is possibly light blue in colour and may have a different colour on the bottom portion of the truck. The different colouring of the bottom portion of the truck could also be road dust.

The suspect is described as tall and thin. He may walk with a limp or altered gait.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Kings District RCMP at 902-679-5555. Please quote File# 2020451586.
