Police investigate weapons call in Halifax

On March 22nd at approximately 0420 a.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to reports of neighbours hearing possible gunshots in the area of Tartan Avenue, Halifax. Officers responded and found evidence that a firearm had been discharged, bullet holes were found in a nearby residence, which was unoccupied at the time. At this time there are no reported injuries as a result of this incident and it is not believed that the residence was the intended target.  The firearm has not been recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
