Help police identify stolen property from Salt Springs arrest

Two arrests after stolen property recovered in Pictou County

February 18, 2020, Pictou County, Nova Scotia . . . On February 12, Pictou District RCMP, with the assistance of the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU), arrested two men following a break and enter to a business on West River Station Rd. in Salt Springs. Police stopped a vehicle that was leaving the scene of the break and enter and arrested the two men inside.

Thirty-one-year-old Bradley Mitchell Wong of Lansdowne and 36-year-old Thomas James Fulton of Rocklin have been charged with Break and Enter, two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and two counts of Theft Under $5000. Wong is also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. The vehicle driven by these subjects, a light blue Subaru Outback, contained stolen property and was seized. Both men were held in custody since their arrest and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court today.

Following these arrests, Pictou District RCMP obtained a warrant and searched a home on Lansdowne Station Rd. in Lansdowne on February 14. During the search, police seized a large quantity of stolen property, including a second vehicle. This investigation is ongoing and police expect to lay several additional charges. Investigators will be contacting the owners of the recovered stolen property to make arrangements for them to identify and claim it.
