NEW GLASGOW REGIONAL POLICE  INVESTIGATE AN ARSON, NEW GLASGOW, N.S. 

New Glasgow Regional Police is investigating an arson that occurred on Stewart Street New Glasgow, N.S.

Early morning on Sunday January 5th at approximately 7:00am, New Glasgow Fire Department and New Glasgow Regional Police responded to a three unit apartment building on Stewart Street.

The fire was was located in the rear of the apartment building, where only one apartment was occupied with two persons. The other two apartments were vacant at the time.

No one was injured as a result of the fire and both persons that were displaced because of the fire damage, were assisted by the Red Cross.

New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit and the Office of the Fire Marshall continue to investigate.
