Police seek public’s assistance in identifying a suspect

Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in an assault that occurred last month in Halifax.

At approximately 5:15 p.m. on December 8 police responded to a report of a group of people fighting in the MacDonald’s parking lot located at 6982 Mumford Road. The suspects had left the area prior to police arrival.

While on scene police received a report that a man had been assaulted by a group of youths/young at the same location. The man and the group were involved in a verbal dispute when two of the members of the group assaulted him. The man attended the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

 

The first suspect is described as a black man in his late teens or early twenties, approximately 5’10” with a thin build and wearing a reddish jacket.

The second is described as a black man in his late teens or early twenties approximately 5’6” with a thin build and wearing a dark jacket.
