Police seek driver in relation to vehicle-pedestrian collision

Police are looking to speak with the driver involved in a vehicle-pedestrian collision that occurred in Halifax earlier this month.

On December 3 police received a report of a vehicle pedestrian-collision that had occurred earlier in the day. At approximately 6:35 p.m. a 26-year-old man was crossing Bell Road at Robie Street in a marked crosswalk where he was struck by a vehicle headed east on Bell Road. The vehicle initially stopped, and the occupants briefly spoke with the man before leaving the area without exchanging information.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a woman, 20-25 years old with dark medium-length hair and circular gold-rimmed glasses. The passenger is described as a woman, 20-25 years old with light-coloured medium-length hair. The vehicle was a dark-coloured, four-door car.

The occupants of the vehicle or anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016.
