Police investigate robbery
Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred this morning in Halifax.
At 3:34 a.m. this morning a staff member working at the Irving Service Station located at 280 Lacewood Drive reported being robbed at knife point. A male entered the store armed with a knife, walked behind the counter and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen during the incident. The employee was uninjured and the suspect fled heading westbound on Lacewood Drive.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, approximately 5’8” in height, slim build, scruffy black hair with a beard and moustache, wearing an orange hoodie, black coat with security on the back, blue jeans and wearing gloves.
