Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a bank in Dartmouth this afternoon.
At approximately 1:20 p.m. officers responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Scotiabank at 91 Portland Street in Dartmouth. A man entered the branch, indicated to the teller that he had a knife and demanded money. The man left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as white man, 40-45-years-old, 5’5″, average build, approximately 155 lbs., wearing a brown woolen cap, with his face covered, dark clothing, yellow gloves and black shoes.
