Drive-by shooting in Debert

July 24, 2019, Debert, Nova Scotia . . . At 3:39 a.m. today, Colchester District RCMP responded to a call of a drive-by shooting at a home on Masstown Rd. Police found two bullet holes in the home, and located a fragment of one round in the kitchen.

The homeowner heard a vehicle stop in front of his house. He saw a black car stop by the driveway and someone fired between two and four shots. The car left the area, heading North on Masstown Rd. The witness could not see whether there was anyone else in the vehicle or provide any details about the vehicle itself. No one was hurt.
