Help RCMP identify armed robbery suspect
May 27, 2019, Bible Hill Nova Scotia…On May 25 at approximately 3:45 a.m., Colchester District RCMP responded to a call that an armed robbery had happened in front of a residence on the 0-100 block of Main St. in Bible Hill.
At the time the call was made, the suspect had fled the scene. Once on scene, police spoke to the two victims of the robbery, a man and a woman. A preliminary investigation showed that the two victims were walking toward the residence when a man not known to them approached from behind, told them he had a gun and demanded they give him money. An altercation happened where the suspect hit the woman in the face with the handgun. The suspect then took off running and went out of sight behind apartment building on Main. St. The woman was treated by EHS for minor injuries at the scene.
The suspect is described as white, 6-foot-tall man. He was wearing black or grey pants, a black sweater and a white and black bandana pulled over his nose and mouth.
The investigation is ongoing and led by the Colchester District RCMP General Investigation Section.
