On May 13, 2019, Pictou RCMP received a report of a theft of tools from a utility trailer that had been at MacKenzie Road, Black Point, Pictou County. The trailer was parked at a cottage lot and the owner was conducting some renovations on the cottage. It was left around noon on Sunday May 12th, and the theft was discovered the following morning around 9:00 AM.
Missing are various carpentry tools. Almost all were Dewalt brand and in total, are valued at close to $30,000.
The stolen items include:
Dewalt–brand table
reciprocating and skill saws
a number of 18,
20 and 60-volt Dewalt batteries
a 4000 and 7500-watt generator
extension cords
aluminum work benches
step ladders
among other numerous items.
