Homicide DOB: 09/02/1965 The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering rewards of up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Derek Alan LOWE. On January 28, 1988, at 7:20 a.m., police responded to a report from a citizen who was walking on a pathway at Maybank Sport Field, Dartmouth, and found an unresponsive male laying on the pathway. Upon police arrival, the victim, Derek Alan LOWE, was discovered deceased, having suffered a fatal gun shot wound. The investigation revealed that the victim had last been seen on the evening of January 27, 1988, in a bar in the north end of Dartmouth.
