DOB: 42-08-22 The Government of the Province of Nova Scotia is offering rewards of up to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Daniel Newman. On June 1, 2008, at 3:30 a.m., Halifax Regional Police were sent to a call behind the YMCA on Gottingen Street, Halifax. Daniel Newman was found deceased as a result of stabbing injuries he received. The police investigation has uncovered little information about who may be responsible for this crime.
