Police investigate robbery
Investigators in the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth on June 9.
At 11:30 p.m., patrol members responded to the 0-100 block of Albro Lake Road for a report of a man who had broken into a residence and assaulted a woman. The woman awoke when she heard a man inside her residence demanding money. A physical altercation occurred between the two wherein both the man and the woman struck each other with objects. The man fled when a neighbour who heard the disturbance, yelled out to the victim. The woman was treated at the scene by EHS for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’10” tall and 160 lbs. He was wearing a thick hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and drawn tightly around his face. He was last seen running towards Albro Lake Road.
