April 9, 2018, Brierly Brook, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia . . . On April 7, Antigonish District RCMP responded to a call indicating someone had found Automated Teller Machines – three in total – on their property. The machines had been left there between Friday April 6 at 4 p.m. and Saturday April 7 at 5 p.m. The ATMs were found down an embankment on a remote property. Police had to request a tow truck to retrieve the machines and bring them to the detachment to have them examined by Forensic Identification Technicians.
Investigators are asking the public to assist with the investigation. Anyone who may have seen these machines being transported to the location where they were found on School Rd. is asked to contact Antigonish District RCMP at 902-863-6500 or 1-800-803-RCMP(7267).
