Armed Robbery

March 22, 2018, Greenwood, Nova Scotia . . . Kings District RCMP, with the assistance of Kings District General Investigation Section (GIS) and RCMP Police Dog Service (PDS) are investigating an armed robbery. Last night at approximately 8:10 p.m., a woman entered a grocery store in Greenwood and handed the pharmacists a note demanding prescription drugs and money. She told one pharmacist that she had a knife. The woman fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of contin and hydromorphone pills.

The suspect is described as white, 5-foot-6, with a medium build. The suspect had her face covered. No one was injured.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call Kings District RCMP at 902-765-3317.
