Crime Of The Week

Around 12:45 p.m. 9 December, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress, in the 300 block of Windmill Road Dartmouth.   The suspect was armed with a bat, forced his way into an apartment and assaulted the resident.  The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.  The victim, a 33 year old male, was transported to the hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.  It is believed the suspect and victim are known to one another.  The suspect is described as: Black male, 50 years old, thin build, approximately 5’6″-5’9″, wearing a red & white sweater.

Officers are searching for the suspect.  Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating.
