Stolen Trailer

Between 2245 hours on November 4, 2017 and 0830 hours on November 5, 2017, a home made utility
trailer was stolen from a yard in South Lochaber, Nova Scotia. The trailer is a 4’x8′ black utility trailer with
a plywood deck worth approximately $1000.
There is no video surveillance available in the area and no known witnesses. However, due to the cold
night of November 4, 2017, the victim observed tire tracks in the frost. He was able to say that the trailer
headed north along Highway 7 towards Antigonish and was hauled by a truck.
The victim described the trailer as being unique. It is home made and black in colour with reflective tape on the
sides. It boasts a 3500lb. torque flex axle and the tail gate is the trailers ramp made out of 1″x1″ angle iron with
mesh on them. Each ramp in 10″ wide and 4′ long. The sides are bolted on 2×12’s. The fenders are U-shaped
and are bolted on as well.
The trailer was just finished being built and consequently was not plated and was not even serialized with a VIN.
