Break & Enter

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a Break and Enter that occurred overnight in Dartmouth.

At approximately 1:36am officers responded to an alarm at Subway Restaurant located at 100 Ilsley Avenue, where they observed that entry had been gained by smashing a large window to the business. Officers were able to review surveillance video and confirmed that a male suspect entered the store with a hammer and was able to remove a quantity of money that was left in a cash register till.

The suspect is described as a male, wearing a dark sweater with green and pink design on chest, a hooded shirt with a white undershirt and jeans.
