House Ransacked, River Herbert, NS

THE AMHERST DETACHMENT OF THE R.C.M.P. (902 667 3859) IS REQUESTING THE PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN SOLVING THIS CRIME:

Between the dates of March 8th and March 22nd 2017 a house on Barronsfield Road in River Hebert was ransacked. Thieves broke in and stole several items including three totes full of trinkets, figurines, dishes and linens. The house has been vacant for some time however is still owned. Those responsible may not have known due to the state of the home, however, the return of items to the nearest RCMP Detachment is requested.

Cumberland RCMP are asking anyone with information on this type of incident to come forward to their local RCMP detachment or police or contacting the Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 -$2000
