Theft Greenwood NS

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a case of shoplifting in Greenwood NS.

On April 10, 2017, at 1245 Walmart in Greenwood reported a male had entered the store, broken into a locked case and took thousands of dollars of GPS equipment. He attempted to conceal the items in his cart with camping gear. The individual was challenged by another customer as he left the store and ended up leaving most of the items in the parking lot.

The male is Caucasian, slim build and appears to be between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing a black jacket, jeans, white sneakers and a brown bucket hat. The witness stated the thought the person to be wearing a curly grey wig and fake teeth.

The witness said the male got away in a grey van bearing a stolen plate.
